This illustration is of a Lister Chevrolet Knobbly from 1958. It was competing at the 2014 Goodwood Revival Meeting. It was taking part in the Sussex Trophy race which was a one hour, two driver race. The race was for World Championship sports and production sports-racing cars that were raced between 1955 and 1960.
The Lister was purpose built sports car from Lister Cars, British sports car manufacturer. Knobbly was a nick-name given to the car for its curvaceous styling. Most were fitted with 3 litre Jaguar engines but this one has an American Chevrolet engine of 5702cc.
The image is available as a giclée print (see additional information). Each print is signed by the artist Steve Goodwin.
